REFUNDS
REFUND INFORMATION:
Sales Receipts Are Required
For All Refunds and Exchanges!
Textbooks:
Full refunds will be cheerfully given the
FIRST 5 DAYS OF CLASS
at the beginning of the term in accordance with Everett Community College policy under the following conditions:
- New books must be in pristine condition.
- Used books must be in same condition as purchased.
- All materials in special packages or bundled sets must be included and unused. Bundles MUST be un-opened. Opened bundles will be returned at 50% of the purchase price.
- Software seals (for new books with software) must be unopened.
Defective books will be replaced at any time during the term purchased. Used defective books may be exchanged, but the customer is responsible
for the price difference between new and used if used books are not available.
Special Orders:
Refunds on special orders will be made unless prohibited by the manufacturer or vendor. Return periods for special orders follow
departmental return dates (for example, textbooks can only be returned within the first 5 days of each term). Note:
There is a restocking fee to refund special orders.
Software:
We cannot accept returns on software if the seal has been opened. Unopened software may be returned within 14 days of purchase.
General Book, Supplies, Gift Items, Clothing and Other Merchandise:
Full refunds are given within 14 days of purchase as long as the item is in new and saleable condition (including labels and packaging).
Please ask one of our clerks about refunds
if you have any questions.
YOU MUST HAVE THE ORIGINAL CURRENT QUARTER CASH REGISTER RECEIPT!
No
refund will be given without a receipt.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
SPECIAL ORDERS: Please let us help you with a hard to find book, or educationally priced software. Fill out a
special order form for an out of stock text and it should arrive within 3 to 4 work days.
POSTAGE STAMPS:
Stamps are avilable at each cash register and are sold in books of 20.
BUS PASSES: We sell Everett and Community Transit
ticket books as well as Puget Passes.
* The EvCC Bookstore does not give refunds for passes or ticket books. Please contact the Customer Service Center at the Everett Station
if you need a refund.
GIFT CARDS:
EvCC Bookstore gift cards are great gifts for any occasion.There are no restrictions on what gift cards can buy & are available
in any dollar denomination you would like. Ask one of our cashiers about how to purchase a gift card.

$ BUYBACK $
Buyback is during Final Exam Week every quarter except Summer Quarter.
Sell your used books back to a wholesale company for up to 1/2 the original price of the book. Exceptions are dated materials, some workbooks,
and some texts with disks. Buyback is held at the front of the store out in the hall. Receipts are not required for buyback.

Your PICTURE STUDENT ID IS REQUIRED FOR ALL BUYBACK TRANSACTIONS !
Go to the Paperclip and obtain your card before buyback begins to avoid
the lineup!

FROM INTERSTATE 5 NORTHBOUND :
Take exit 195 and turn left onto Marine View Drive. Go one half mile to 16th Street and turn left. follow 16th Street to Broadway.
Turn right onto Broadway and continue to Tower Street and turn left. Follow Tower Street two blocks and turn left to the main college entrance
and campus parking lot on your right. Turn right and follow the main drive to the upper parking lot. The Bookstore is located in the Parks
Building above the Library.
FROM INTERSTATE 5 SOUTHBOUND :
Take exit 198 and follow the highway south into Everett to Tower Street and turn right. Follow Tower Street two blocks and turn left to the
main college entrance and campus parking on your right. Turn right and follow the main drive to the upper parking lot. The Bookstore is located
in the Parks Building above the Library.
FROM DOWNTOWN EVERETT :
Take Broadway north to Tower Street and turn left. Follow Tower Street two blocks and turn leftto the main college entrance and campus parking
on your right. Turn right and follow the main drive to the upper parking lot. The Bookstore is located in the Parks Building above the Library.
PARKING PASSES
Visitor parking passes can be obtained at the Security Office. Quarterly parking passes must be purchased at the Cashiers Office in the
Jackson Center and then picked up at the Security Office.
